Ideal for Belgian White, American Wheat, Berliner Weiss, Gose, Hefeweizen, Dunkelweis and Weizenbock
Belgian Wit-Style Ale Yeast is a neutral strain and is great in wheat beers. The ester and phenol production are much lower than in traditional hefeweizen strains as Munich Classic. This yeast provides a baseline profile of banana and spice aromas, but there is room for the brewer to add other spices. Styles brewed with this yeast, but not limited to are American Wheat, Belgian Witbier, Berliner Weiss, Dunkelweis, Gose, Hefeweizen and Weizenbock.
