Product description

Adds a richer malt and grain flavour than Pilsen malt and imparts subtle aromas of toffee and caramel. This Vienna malt is kilned at 85-90°C. Slightly higher temperatures than Pilsen Malt. This resulsts in a deeper golden colour to the beer increasing at the same time its body and fullness. The higher kilning temperature slight reduces the enzymatic activity of Château Vienna malt compared to Chateau Pilsen. However this malt still has sufficient enzymatic activity to be used in combination with large proportion of specialty malts.

Usage

Works well with all beer styles. Perfect for enhancing colour and aroma of light beers. Can be used up to 100% of the grain bill
