Nottingham is an English ale yeast. It has a variety of styles and fermentation conditions. Traditional styles that are brewed with this yeast are but not limited to Pale Ales, Ambers, Porters, Stouts and Barleywines. Other styles brewed with Nottingham are Golden Ale, Lager style beers, Kölsch, IPA, Imperial Stout and more. The Nottingham yeast is a neutral ale strain and is a good choice for high gravity sour and other fermentation conditions.
