You can follow the progress of your brew and see when your fermentation starts and when it is finished. Graviator gives you the opportunity to keep an eye on the Specific Gravity (SG) and the temperature directly in your brew.
Graviator is 138 mm tall, has a diameter of 37 mm and weighs 140 g.
The size and weight are all crucial for a stable measurement even in high krausen. Can measure a high specific gravity of up to 1,120 SG, which corresponds to an alcohol percentage of 16%. Can withstand fermentation under pressure.
The Graviator is charged wirelessly via the included wireless charger. It must therefore never be opened, and you avoid the risk of it leaking and ruining a brew.
It can be charged in approx. 5 hours. Battery status can be viewed online via BrewCreator.
If you connect a Graviator to a Ferminator, the Ferminator Connect takes the temperature from inside the beer via the Graviator and adjusts the temperature based on this. This provides a much more precise and stable temperature control, which ensures that the beer ferments at the most optimal conditions.
BrewCreator is a brand new WebApp that allows you to control your brew, anywhere, anytime. It only requires you have access to a browser and the Internet; mobile, tablet and desktop compatible. Easy and clear overview of your brew. Allows you to connect products and collect data from your brew.
The Graviator's software can be easily updated online at BrewCreator.
BrewCreator makes it possible to connect a Graviator to the Ferminator. Graviator is a wireless WiFi hydrometer and thermometer.
When you connect a Graviator, the Ferminator reads from the temperature inside the beer via the Graviator and adjusts the temperature based on this. The result is an unprecedentedly precise and stable temperature control, which ensures that the beer's fermentation process gets the most optimal conditions.
A Graviator connected to the Ferminator removes the uncertainty of whether the fermentation process is proceeding as it should. You get nice and clear graphs of the fermentation process as well as all the most important information: OG, SG, FG, ABV, SET and ACT temperature. This set-up provides reassurance that your brew is on the right track. You can see when your fermentation begins and when it is finished. The alcohol percentage is automatically calculated.
Connecting a Graviator to the Ferminator Connect is easy and straightforward. See in the video how easy it is.
We have made it incredibly easy to integrate with user-defined cloud services, e.g., Brewfather. In BrewCreator, only the cloud URL must be inserted.
The Graviator is easy to use. The LEDs show status and functions.
You can set your Graviator to a certain colour. There are 7 colours to choose from.
An active Graviator flashes the selected colour, like a visual heartbeat. It will flash every 5 seconds with its selected colour.
The temperature sensor is placed separately from the rest of the print so that it does not get heat from there. To measure the temperature in the liquid most accurately, the sensor is placed on the side of the Graviator and very close to the liquid. The location means that it picks up temperature changes quickly, while at the same time it is always located below the surface of the liquid.
Bluetooth and WiFi modules are located at the top and will always be above the surface of the liquid this ensures the best possible signal strength.
The Graviator can only be used on 2.4 GHz networks as this WiFi signal has the longest range.
The Bluetooth signal is used to connect the Graviator to a Ferminator Connect.
Graviator is designed and produced in Denmark under strict quality requirements.
The Graviator is delivered including a wireless charger. Ready to use after a short charge and setup. Read our simple instruction manual and watch video guides to get the full benefit and the best experience with your Graviator.
At the top are 3 LEDs, which shows the Graviator's functions visually. Weight blocks are fitted to measure an accurate and stable SG, even in high krausen.
The Graviator is built with stabilizers that are strategically placed to lock the print in place, so that precise and stable measurements can be made.
The battery is rechargeable and can be charged wirelessly via the coil as seen below.
Brewolution continuously develops ground-breaking new products that set new standards for innovation and development within beer brewing.
Robust and functional design that withstands short-term scalding. Does not need to be taken apart and therefore does not leak.
Wireless charger is included when you buy a Graviator.
The wireless charger follows the Qi standard and can charge with 5W / 7.5W / 10W.
The Graviator is fully charged in 5 hours
If the Graviator is not charged before brewing, it is not a problem. You can set your Graviator to charge at the beginning of brewing and it will be fully charged in approx. 5 hours. This fits the time of most brews.
An active Graviator on WiFi can hold power for up to 3 months.
The Graviator has a low power consumption. The rechargeable battery has a capacity of 4.2V and can hold power for up to 3 months.
The built-in chips use power-saving algorithms, which results in low power consumption.
Graviator can be turned off completely so that it does not use unnecessary power.
Graviator is designed with 3 LEDs at the top that are visible even when the Graviator is in liquid. The LEDs show the status and visual indication of functions as well as the colour of the Graviator.
The battery icon lights up during charging and turns off when fully charged.
The Graviator is delivered factory calibrated.
User calibration is easily done via BrewCreator with just one click.
Improved algorithm
We use our very own developed algorithm for calculating SG:
″Improved dual polynomial algorithm combined with multipoint calibration for the most accurate mathematical specific gravity model. ″
The Graviator eliminates doubts about whether fermentation is in progress and whether the brew is ready for bottling. Likewise, whether the yeast has had time to clean up and whether the beer has been fermented at the right temperature to avoid possible off flavours.
A steel fermenter encloses and blocks most of the WiFi signal, making it difficult for a digital hydrometer to have a good and stable connection with the WiFi network. This is a challenge for all digital hydrometers on the market. We have designed the Graviator in a better way than many of our competitors and placed the WiFi-antenna in the top of the Graviator, for the best and strongest WiFi signal. Even with this improvement and better design, the Graviator can have difficulties in maintaining a good and stable WiFi connection.
