This non-diastatic hybrid yeast strain from Lallemand is the perfect match for producing traditional Saison-Style flavors and aromas when brewing tasteful all-year-round dry farmhouse beers.

Diastaticus yeasts are strains that increases the risk of your bottle, can or keg to become over-carbonated. Diastaticus yeasts produce glucoamylase enzymes which digest the dextrins in beer, releasing sugars which then can be fermented in the bottle, can or keg producing extra carbon dioxide. Resulting in a fountain of beer

This new hybrid strain is STA1-negative, non-GMO and eliminates the risk of cross contamination with a diastatic yeast that is typically associated with Saison strains. So now you have one less thing to worry about and can concentrate on being creative and brewing outstanding Saison-Style flavor characteristics and farmhouse beers.

The LalBrew Farmhouse is a result of research and development work by Renaissance Biosciences in Vancouver, CA, in collaborative with Lallemand, and is created using advanced yeast breeding techniques. Using advanced technique Lallemand has secured the yeasts ability to utilize sugar for producing fine, crisp, and dry Saisons and other Farmhouse beers. The yeast will not produce any off flavors, but will instead enhance the sweet, spicy, and fruity aromas in this range of beer.

The Renaissance Biosciences also included patented technology which prevents the production of the sulphur based rotten egg off flavour. Just one more marvelous characteristic for this new Farmhouse Hybrid Saison-Style Yeast.
