Digi Boil 35 L Mash Upgrade Kit

This upgrade kit offers an excellent entry point into electric all-grain brewing at an unbeatable value. While it may not include the advanced features of the BrewZilla, it provides everything needed to mash and boil in a single system. Setting up the DigiMash is straightforward—just place the false bottom in the kettle, install the malt pipe, fill it with water, and heat to your strike temperature. Add your grain, set your mash temperature on the digital controller, and let the system maintain the heat. Once mashing is complete, simply lift the malt pipe, allow the wort to drain, sparge as needed, then remove the malt pipe and proceed to the boil.

When choosing between the DigiMash and the BrewZilla, there are a couple of key differences to consider. The BrewZilla offers programmable mash steps and a delayed start function, which the DigiMash does not include. However, step mashing can still be done manually by adjusting the temperature on the controller.

Another major distinction is the built-in pump on the BrewZilla for mash recirculation. While recirculating can improve efficiency, it is not essential for a successful brew day.

Designed for use with the 35L DigiBoil, this kit takes advantage of two built-in heating elements powered by a 240V plug—one at 1900W and another at 500W, delivering a combined 2400W. The elements can be controlled separately, allowing precise temperature management. Use a single element for gentle heating or engage both to quickly reach a rolling boil. The digital control panel maintains temperatures automatically, making it easy to dial in the perfect brewing conditions.
