MaltZilla standard. Malt Mill with integrated motor.

MaltZilla is based on a brand new malt mill design, using diamonds impregnated into the surface of the rollers.

Most malt mills chop or crush the grain as it passes through the tight gap between the rollers. This often means your grains are chopped in half. The MaltZilla works on a different principle and the gap settings is therefore not as critical. The MaltZilla uses impregnated diamonds to grip the surface of the grain and the friction of pulling it through the gap causes a sheering action and opening the husk efficiently enough that the entire contents of the grain is available for the mashing process.

When the MaltZilla is set up correctly the entire husk will be intact and can help reducing the chance of “stuck mash”.

Integrated motor
The motor is powerful and has a high torque, that easily can handle hard products such as popcorn grains. The motor is well sealed from moisture and grain dust, making it ideal for a brewing environment.

The mill works on voltages from 12-30V DC, but we recommend 24 V for optimum speed.
